We would like to introduce you to some of our favourite walks along this part of Dorset.
The South West Coast Path is England’s longest waymarked long-distance footpath and a National Trail. It stretches for 630 miles, running from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset. Weymouth is mid-way on the Dorset stretch and the Gresham is ideally located for a stop-over along the route and perfect for a rest day.
This section of the SW Coast Footpath begins at Ferry Bridge, you can head to portland on the road/cycle path or across the shingle ridge of Chesil Beach.
