Welcome
The Gresham is a traditional, family run, guest house situated on Weymouth’s iconic Esplanade. It has been under new family ownership from February 2021 and we are nearing the end of two years’ refurbishment and renovation.
We, the new team at The Gresham, are Louise and Steve and both have a passionate vision for this beautiful town house. Some might say it was a bit of a mid-life crisis that made us want to change track and follow our dreams to turn this lovely old building into a unique homely, comfortable guest house.
Built in 1827 and a hotel since the 1920’s we will be putting our personal touch and creative flair from top to bottom to create the perfect seaside getaway. A welcoming place where families, individuals and couples can unwind and forget the stresses of everyday life. Somewhere you will feel free to tuck yourself into a cosy corner with a book, or just kick off your shoes and sit leisurely taking in the sea view with a coffee.
We are finding this direction quite exciting and a challenge we are definitely enjoying, along with the support of our daughters, making it a truly family affair.
