The Gresham – An hotel with distinction
We have a range of 12 rooms to suit most people, from singles to family rooms sleeping up to five. All guest rooms have been redecorated recently and we continue to upgrade the rooms to a higher standard.
Many of the suggestions made by guests over our first Summer at the property have been incorporated into the makeovers. Please use the booking page for specific room types and photos.
All rooms have Wi-Fi, a hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We have a limited number of highchairs but we do not provide cots for hire however, you are welcome to bring your own travel cot – these can only be accommodated in certain rooms so please call us to check.

The Gresham was built around 1827 and is a listed building which means that we are not able to make any adaptations to the physical structure. From pavement level there are seven steps into the building and the guest rooms are located across several floors. If you have any mobility difficulties, we advise you to contact us prior to making a booking as our rooms are located across six floors and we do not have a lift.
We will always do our best to assist you with storage for wheelchairs or other physical aids and advise calling us to discuss your needs and will be able to further advise you on the layout of the property. Although we do not accept pets, assistance dogs are welcome but we ask that you contact us prior to booking.
